- The company was founded by Vinny Kearns formerly Vice President of the National Taxi Drivers Union.
- He has previously served on various transport councils and committees namely Taoiseach’s Taxi Forum, National Taxi Advisory Council, International Road Transport Union, E.U and O.E.C.D transport councils (with special emphasis on special needs transport).
- During his visits to many EU cities he carried out his research for Xpert Taxis based on best available technology and best practice. He is now C.E.O of the company.
- Xpert was launched launched on October 17th 2005 by An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern.
- Xpert Taxis is managed by an experienced Board and management team with the necessary skill sets to fulfill every customer requirement.
