Xpert Digi Taxis was launched on October 17th 2005 by An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern. The mission of Xpert Digi Taxis is…

Xpert Digi Taxis was founded by Vinny Kearns ex. Vice President of the National Taxi Drivers Union. He was also appointed to various transport councils and committees namely Taoiseach’s Taxi Forum, National Taxi Advisory Council, Clare St. Initiative, International Road Transport Union, E.U and O.E.C.D transport councils (with special emphasis on special needs transport) and Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Development Board. During his visits to many E.U cities he carried out his research for Xpert Digi Taxis based on available technology and best practice. He is now C.E.O of the company.

Assisted by Myles O Reilly, chairman of the board and a graduate of the Programme for Management Development at the Harvard Business School and a former Chartered Accountant and Public Auditor. He fulfilled the roles of Chief Accountant, Management Accountant, Managing Director, and Financial Director between 1963 and 1986. Myles O'Reilly was Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission between 1986-1991. During that time he was a member of the EU Committee on restrictive practices and dominant positions. He was the Minister's representative to the Competition Law and Policy Committee of OECD.

Myles O'Reilly spoke on competition at conferences in the United Kingdom, Vienna and Paris. While Chairman of the Fair Trade Commission, Myles O'Reilly prepared a number of published reports. These included a report on price differences between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland which was published in 1986. He also acted as Chairman of a public enquiry into the supply of motor fuel products. The report of that enquiry was also published. He founded O'Reilly Consultants in 1991 to offer a range of consultancy services. In September 1996, he was nominated as a member of the Competition and Mergers Review Group which presented its report to the Tanaiste in March 2000.

In 1999 Myles O'Reilly advised the Competition Council of Lithuania on the organisation and resourcing of its office and in 2002 he advised the Serbian Competition Council.
